Exploratory Paper Topics - Class Papers to Turn to
Exploratory Paper Topics - Class Papers to Turn toWhen you are faced with a new topic for your class, it can be tempting to turn to exploratory paper topics. This is a choice that students make all the time, as they will want to explore their options and decide what is best for them. However, not everyone has the time or inclination to do their own research. If your students want to do their own research, they have several options. If you choose exploratory paper topics, there are two main types of paper topics. The first is a 'paper topic' which provides a written work in progress to discuss and review as part of a class project. A class will use this paper topic to develop an outline for the project. The paper topic can be an outline for a writing assignment or one for your final research report. The second type of paper topics is simply the actual paper topics. When students choose these, they write about the material they are going to study in their class. There are several things t o consider when choosing this option. First, you should use the topic, rather than the instructor's description of the topic, to organize your paper topics.Second, this type of paper topics allows you to put the text in the appropriate format for an individual or group assignment. Many teachers are reluctant to use this method because it causes confusion in your class. The difficulty here is that students won't know which texts to use if you begin discussing text. It is especially important that you get your group assignments together before you present them in class. Finally, it is important that you present all of your group assignments at the same time. Writing on multiple topics on separate days is very difficult to do. Students will have different time constraints and understand that their assignments must be finished at the same time. Many students prefer to have all of their papers ready at the same time, and you should as well.Exploratory paper topics allow you to customize y our class assignments to fit your students' schedules and learn how to present multiple papers at the same time. A class planning guide can help you choose the best paper topics for your students.
